Crisis Management: The Containment Triangle
Another TATS Tip, this time about a new topic: Crisis Management. As usual, this is only a simplified introduction to very basic concepts, much more explained, illustrated and developed in our TATS Programs.
————-
The Fire Triangle is a common figure used by firefighters to expose the conditions under which a fire can develop. It requires heat, fuel (e.g. wood) and an oxidizer (typically oxygen). Without one of these components, the fire cannot exist.
The Containment Triangle mirrors the Fire Triangle, explaining the 3 factors that can STOP the spread of the crisis, or facilitate its control and resolution. It is a good start to organize a basic prevention plan.
These TATS “Tips” (like in “short advice” or “summit of the mountain”) are one page summaries, presenting in a compact and synthetic way some selected topics of general interest. As it is implied by their name, they are only a very limited illustration of the content of our Total Awareness Training System.
