Crisis Management: Time is of the essence!

Space I can recover. Time, never.
— Napoleon Bonaparte

We continue our TATS Tips series on Crisis Management, today raising the Timing issue. Some crisis do not have a clear starting date (e.g. epidemics), but when a sudden event occurs, the clock is ticking.

From the Zero moment, some phases succeed inevitably, challenging the quality of preparation first, then the capacity to surmount the trauma.

In the first phases of the crisis, almost everything depends on things done BEFORE the critical event, as presented in our “Containment Triangle” post.

These TATS “Tips” (like in “short advice” or “summit of the mountain”) are one page summaries, presenting in a compact and synthetic way some selected topics of general interest. As it is implied by their name, they are only a very limited illustration of the content of our Total Awareness Training System.
